Mayiwane High School

Another donation, in form of air-conditioners, was made to Mayiwane High School on the 15th of June where the company was held at high esteem for its faithfulness in keeping promises. The E29 000-worth of air-conditioners were presented to the school by SEC’s Managing Director Pius Gumbi.

Ekwetsembeni Special School

The school is non-profit making institution that caters for the physically & mentally challenged kids and had engaged in a project of installing wall heaters in classrooms ahead of the cold season. The project was initiated to benefit all pupils in school; creating an enabling environment for education. A donation of E30, 000 was made to the institution in form of air conditioners.

SOS Children’s village

SEC made a donation of E30, 000 to SOS; an independent organization that is dedicated and passionate about preventing children from loosing parental care. The organization had a daring need to improve their facilities and pay fees for under privileged kids.

The organization with a mandate of supporting girls and women to acquire education development, formally convey its need for the company’s financial support in a fundraising breakfast held in April 2011. SEC supported the event with E2, 000.

The new NGO which is an advocacy organization dealing with epilepsy related challenges had a golf tournament they named ‘Epilepsy Yellow Golf’s Day’ in which SEC participated in. The company supported the event with E5, 000.
